What we stock and what to recommend.
Back bar selections
- Plymouth (well, $1.10/oz) — house default. Soft juniper, citrus-forward, food-friendly.
- Tanqueray ($1.25/oz) — drier, more classical. For martini purists.
- Hendrick's ($1.50/oz) — cucumber + rose botanicals. Good for Eastsides, gin & tonics.
- Monkey 47 ($3.20/oz) — premium. Complex botanicals. Sip pour or aggressive martini.
- The Botanist ($1.80/oz) — Islay-distilled, herbal, distinctive.
How to recommend
"Gin runs from soft and citrusy (Plymouth) to dry and classical (Tanqueray) to floral (Hendrick's). What flavor world are you in?"
House line
When a guest says "I don't really like gin," don't argue. Ask: "Have you tried it with cucumber and lime? Some folks who don't think they like gin like it that way."
