Who gets priority
- Recognized regulars — host knows them by name, they have a SevenRooms profile.
- VIPs and friends of the house — flagged in SevenRooms.
- Industry walk-ins — bartenders, chefs, somms, F&B folks who say so. Front-loaded for the bar.
- First-time walk-ins — by arrival order.
What the host does
- Greets within 10 seconds.
- Quotes a wait time if needed. Honest wait times only.
- Texts when ready (SevenRooms supports SMS waitlist).
- Holds the table location: bar, banquette, or back room.
What we never do
- Promise a wait time we can't hit.
- "Save" a table for someone walking up later if other guests are already on the waitlist.
- Skip the waitlist for tippers without a marked VIP status.
