Use this for documenting coaching conversations with staff — both positive feedback and corrective. Not for formal write-ups (those are HR documents); this is for tracking what we've talked about.

[One or two sentences on the topic. Specific, not vague. "Drink build times consistently 3+ minutes on Saturday's rail rush" — not "needs to be faster."]

[Their response, their context, their constraints.]

What we agreed

  • [specific action they will take]
  • [specific support I will provide]

Tone

  • [ ] Positive — recognition, encouragement
  • [ ] Coaching — skill or system gap, no consequence
  • [ ] Corrective — required improvement, will escalate if not addressed
  • [ ] Disciplinary — formal documented warning (also goes in HR file)
