Build in the rocks glass. Add ingredients over a 1 lg rock. Stir gently in the glass for ~15 seconds. Express an orange peel over the top — do NOT drop the peel in. Discard the peel.
Orange Peel (expressed only, not dropped)
The Lancey signature Old Fashioned. Pocket Spice does not appear here — the mole bitters do the spice work. Drier and more spice-forward than a standard OF.
Rocks, single big rock, no peel in glass. The expression matters — make sure the orange oil lands on the surface visibly.
Spicy, dry, chocolate-mole on the finish. Should NOT taste sweet. If the rock is melted, dump it and start over.
