Spec

  • 1.5 oz Blackstrap rum (Cruzan or Hamilton)
  • 0.75 oz Campari
  • 1.5 oz Pineapple juice
  • 0.5 oz Lime juice (fresh)
  • 0.5 oz Demerara syrup (2:1)
  • Pineapple frond or wedge

Build

Shake all ingredients with ice for 12 seconds. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass or tiki vessel. Garnish with a pineapple frond standing upright or a small wedge.

Kuala Lumpur Hilton, 1978. The tiki drink that uses Campari. Rediscovered by Jeff 'Beachbum' Berry, 2002.
