No phones on the floor

Phones stay off the floor during service. Pockets, lockers, behind the bar in the designated drawer. Not in your hand. Not on the back bar. Not "just checking the time."

Why

A phone in your hand reads as disinterest to every guest who sees it. Even if you're checking a recipe or texting a coworker, the guest reads it the same way: this person is not here.

Two phone glances per shift is roughly $28 in lost reads — guests who would have ordered a second round if you'd looked up and made eye contact.
