If a guest is wrong about something (the cocktail spec, the policy, the wine pairing), the response is never debate. Acknowledge, offer the alternative, move on. 'You're absolutely right, let me fix that' is acceptable even when they're wrong. Public correction creates losers. We don't make losers in our room.
