Queue rules:
- Names go on the board in order of arrival.
- Winners stay. Losers rotate off.
- Maximum two consecutive games for any winner.
- No favorites. No exceptions.
- Between games: reset the rack, clean the felt, restock cues.
While guests wait:
- Offer board games or cards
- Ensure their drinks are full (coordinate with the bar)
- Light conversation if welcome, silent presence if not
When competition heats up:
- De-escalate before it becomes tension
- Reset the tone: fun, inclusive, spirited but never rowdy
- Quietly tell the MOD if a guest is becoming a problem
