Corrective Action Framework

This is the escalation ladder for every policy violation at The Lancey. When a manager links you to a specific rule article, this is the framework they reference for what happens next.

The four steps

1. Verbal coaching. First instance. On-shift, in private. No paperwork. Manager states the rule, the why, and the expected behavior going forward.

2. Written warning. Second instance of the same rule, or escalation from a serious first instance. Documented in your file. You sign acknowledging the conversation, not agreeing with the consequence.

3. Suspension. Third instance, or a high-severity first instance (theft, harassment, dishonesty, no-call no-show). Unpaid. Length determined by GM.

4. Termination. Fourth instance, or any violation of the eight Non-Negotiables on first instance.
