Batch: Negroni

Our menu Negroni, batched for service speed.

Spec (1L yield)

  • 333ml gin (Plymouth)
  • 333ml Campari
  • 333ml Carpano Antica sweet vermouth
  • Note: zero water dilution in batch. Dilution comes from the cube at service.

Build (batch)

Combine all in a 1L bottle. Refrigerate. Shake gently before each service period to redistribute.

Service (per drink)

  • 3oz batch
    Pour into a rocks glass over a large cube. Stir 15 seconds in the glass.
    Garnish: orange peel, expressed firmly, dropped in.

Notes

Equal-parts simplicity makes the Negroni an ideal batch candidate. The cube does the dilution work in real time.

If the batch is more than 4 days old, taste it. Vermouth oxidation will dull the drink. Replace if dulled.
