Ingredients:

  • Equal parts white sugar + water (by weight or volume)

Method:

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium until sugar dissolves completely (hot process).
  3. Cool fully before bottling.
  4. Bottle, label, date.
  5. Shelf life: 2 weeks refrigerated.

Cost: ~$0.05/oz (from grid assumptions sheet).

Yield in cocktails: ~30 cocktail uses per 750 mL at 0.25 oz pour.
